In the day we will visit as first
the Badia a Passignano, where in the existing Monastery there are documents from the 8th century AC .
We will stop here for some memorable pictures into the heart of the Antinori Vineyards.

After a nice drive along the local back scenery road over the hills we reach the little charming village of Montefioralle.
We will gladly take you around for
a walk to discover one of the best kept hamlets Chianti hill town in Italy.

As next we can’t miss to arrive in Greve, the “Capital” of the Chianti region.
We will stop in the main
picturesque 16th century square with the little traditional shops where locals still use to buy things and goods on a daily basis.
Here you will
enjoy some free time on your own to stroll around. You cannot miss a visit to the Falorni Butcher shop where you will be surrounded by an incredible varieties of hams and salamis.
Moreover, you can visit the
13th century underground cellar, once used to last the ice longer in the summer season and today to age splendid pecorino cheeses.
Upstairs, you will have an other opportunity to
taste some good glass of wine accompanied by some cheese, salamis and snacks.

As now we are close to noon time our suggestions are:
for your proper highlight of the day – we may have given already some suggestions as
great authentic wineries where old ladies are performing great genuine food experiences to better taste the great wines produced.

In the afternoon, we have the visits of the gardens of the Medieval Castle where Leonardo lived and whether you wish there could be the opportunity to taste some more wines.

Extra:
A nice opportunity that we have in the day to the
Wine Chianti is to fit in the morning a nice visit to San Gimignano in the morning-
The village world known for the
14 medieval towers and its charming architecture.
We can stay here till noon time then spend the other part of the day in the
Wine Chianti area.

We could join one of the suggested wineries above for wine tasting and/or lunch and a visit to Greve. For this different arrangement there is a little supplement just to cover the extra miles over the day.
